Our organization started with our founder Megan Stevens hearing the AIR BEAR heliocopter flying over her business each day.  She thought how can I help those kids and their families and make the hospital a less terrifying place?  So she decided to make sure  that every holiday season their stay was a little less scary.  Brighten up for the kids collects toys and gifts for those kids who stay in the hospital over the holidays.  In addition each child  who comes through Akron Children's doors receive a gift when they are leaving the hospital all year round by the help of your donations.
